BROWSE INDIVIDUAL HEALTH INSURANCE PLANS

Shopping for health insurance on a budget? Then an individual health insurance plan may be the perfect plan for you!

Here at GMBA Advisors Group, we’ve helped thousands of individuals and families find affordable individual health insurance plans. Two of our most popular coverage options are Major Medical Plans and Short-Term Medical Plans.

Major Medical Plans

Major Medical Plans (also known as “ACA Obamacare” plans) are permanent health plans for families and individuals who are responsible for paying their own premiums. In addition to being budget-friendly, these health insurance plans are also highly practical. All Major Medical Plans must meet the minimum essential benefit standards of the Affordable Care Act. In other words, you’ll only be paying for what you need.

Coverage includes:

  • Prescription drugs
  • Pediatric services
  • Preventative and wellness services
  • Chronic disease management
  • Emergency services
  • Hospitalizations
  • Mental health and addiction services
  • Pregnancy, maternal, and newborn care
  • Ambulatory patient services
  • Laboratory services
  • Rehabilitative and habilitative services

These plans are categorized on four levels:

  • Bronze
  • Silver
  • Gold
  • Platinum

They are further categorized by plan type:

  • Health Maintenance Organization
  • Exclusive Provider Organization
  • Point of Service
  • Preferred Provider Organization

Rates, benefits, and network providers will vary by plan type and level.

Short-Term Coverage

Short-Term Medical Plans provide you with temporary health insurance coverage while you’re shopping for a permanent health insurance plan. These convenient health insurance plans will protect you in the event that you are hospitalized while you are in between health coverage plans.

Whether you’re shopping for a new health insurance plan or are awaiting health benefits from a new job, it’s important to stay protected in the meantime. Short-Term Medical Plans can keep you covered at an affordable price.

Most Short-Term Medical Plans last about three months, and they typically cover the following:

  • Preventative care
  • Doctor’s visits
  • Emergency care
  • Urgent care
  • Prescription drugs
